In this lesson, you implemented Tracing with OpenTelemetry. You created spans, added information to them and connected them together to create a visual representation of the operations that happen in your app. You also learned about Swift’s TaskLocal property wrapper that allows you to set local values to tasks, which made a big difference to your tracing implementation.
In the next lesson, you’ll go deeper into OpenTelemetry Metrics and learn about the different types of metrics you can send.
